Prague astronomical clock

The Astronomical Clock that hangs onto the side of Old Town Hall Tower was created in the early 15th century. The Astronomical Clock´s calendar dial was added in the 19th century. It indicates today´s day and date and shows the corresponding month and sign of the zodiac. The rotating disc ring is divided in to 365 fields. Today´s day is indicated by the little golden pointer fixed at the top.
